Human Comfort is a software and hardware development company dedicated to the Energy Retrofitting and Home Performance industry.
Energy independence and sustainability are increasingly critical for economic stability, environmental responsibility, and national security. Human Comfort addresses these critical needs through innovative technology—integrating software, hardware, and robotics—to streamline energy retrofitting on a massive scale.
Despite being a significant energy producer, the U.S. remains dependent on imported energy, exposing it to economic volatility and geopolitical risks. Reducing consumption through improved efficiency provides a powerful pathway to true energy independence, environmental protection, and economic stability.
According to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, nearly 61.5% of U.S. energy consumption is lost due to inefficiencies. Residential properties significantly contribute to this waste through poor insulation, outdated construction, and insufficient air sealing.
Scaling residential energy retrofits traditionally faces several barriers:
Human Comfort has created a robust, integrated platform designed explicitly for scalability and precision:
A recent large-scale pilot demonstrated:
Human Comfort also revolutionizes technician training with mobile training units, quickly converting diverse educational and professional backgrounds into skilled retrofitting specialists. The intuitive, user-friendly design of the Human Comfort Optimizer™ platform reduces training time from months to days.
Human Comfort offers utilities, implementers, and end users a scalable, reliable, and economically viable solution to dramatically improve energy efficiency. By embedding innovation directly into retrofitting processes, Human Comfort helps achieve energy independence, lowers operational costs, and strengthens environmental sustainability.
Our award winning software, hardware and robotics is revolutionizing the industry and changing the way the industry will think about retrofitting.
We are scheduled to release our latest Human Comfort Optimizer software V3.1 in late May of this year. Sign up for a free newsletter or contact us here to be alerted prerelease.
This release has something awesome and very unique for everyone:
HVAC contractors, Energy retrofitters, Home Performance contractors, Energy Utilities and Implementers all will benefit from the efficiencies and game changing technology this release has to offer!
Our Latest Hardware the Human Comfort Optimizer or HCO v1.9 releases in late July and is already in prototype mode! This is our very own Sensory Input Device or SID that interfaces to the HCO software (Apply Ipad pro 10 or later with Lidar required. Our robotics division is currently working on three prototypes specifically for energy retrofitting on scale. Inside our robotics division, we have several goals that underscore all of our objectives:
Speed: Everything needs to be getting faster.
Miniaturization: Everything needs to be smaller.
Our Mid term goal (mid 2026) is to have a single person installation crew assisted with 4 robots. This will represent an (industry standard) crew of 7 people.
When you’re dealing with ideas like ‘energy independence’, and ‘sustainability’, these concepts can sometimes feel overwhelmingly vast—certainly for an individual…
